The popular-match archive.
Real results between the clubs most people actually watch — big-name matchups and derby-caliber fixtures, ordered most recent first. Not every tracked match; deliberately scoped to the ones worth scrolling back for.

How to use historical results — and how this differs from the recent results page
The recent results page tells you how the last few days went, checked against what the pre-match consensus said. This page is different on purpose — it's a longer-running record of the matchups most people actually watch, without the win/upset framing attached to each entry.
Why this archive is scoped to popular matchups only
This isn't every match FDVS has tracked — it's deliberately narrowed to fixtures between widely-recognized clubs, the kind of matchup worth scrolling back through history for. A complete archive of every lower-table fixture from every covered league would bury the genuinely interesting matches under thousands of results nobody's specifically looking for.
Reading a chronological log versus a graded results page
Where the results page groups matches by Today, Yesterday and This Week and marks each one against the pre-match consensus, this archive simply runs backward in time, most recent first, with no verdict attached — a match from months ago isn't being checked against a live consensus call the way yesterday's match is.
Spotting patterns across multiple meetings
Scanning down this list for two clubs that have met before is one of the more useful things to do with an archive like this — a consistent pattern across several meetings is a genuinely different signal than one isolated result.
How this connects to the rest of the platform
Every other statistics page on FDVS draws, in some form, from the same underlying match data this archive surfaces the popular slice of. If a number anywhere else on the platform looks surprising, the results page and team statistics are where the fuller underlying record lives.
Coverage and how far back it goes
Coverage grows as more real matches between recognized clubs are tracked to a final score — we don't backfill older seasons in bulk, so older history accumulates naturally over time rather than appearing all at once.
