Refund Policy

1. Subscription refunds — Plus & Pro

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, except where required by applicable consumer protection law. As a courtesy, first-time subscribers may request a full refund within 48 hours of their initial subscription purchase, provided no Pro-only features (data exports, API access, source breakdown) have been used during that window. This 48-hour courtesy applies once per account, to a first subscription only — not to renewals or plan changes.

2. Renewals

Automatic renewal charges are treated the same as a new billing period and are non-refundable once processed, except where required by law. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel before your current billing period ends — see Terms of Service, Section 5, for how cancellation timing works.

3. Prime Pick purchases

Once a Prime Pick's written analysis has been unlocked and delivered to your account, the purchase is final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. This is because the analysis itself — the thing being purchased — has already been delivered in full at that point.

4. Billing errors & duplicate charges

If you're charged twice for the same subscription period or Prime Pick, or charged an amount that doesn't match what was shown at checkout, contact us with your transaction details. Genuine billing errors are refunded in full once verified, regardless of the 48-hour window above.

5. Cancelling vs. requesting a refund

Cancelling a subscription stops future renewal charges but does not itself refund the current billing period already paid for — you retain access through the end of that period. A refund request is a separate action, subject to the terms on this page.

6. Payment method notes

Refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible. Card refunds via Flutterwave and PayPal refunds typically follow those providers' standard processing times. Bank transfer and mobile money refunds are processed manually and may take longer. Cryptocurrency payments are refunded in the equivalent value at the time of refund, since blockchain transactions themselves cannot be reversed — please account for this when choosing crypto as a payment method for a purchase you might want to reverse.

7. How to request a refund

Contact us with your account email and the transaction you're asking about. We aim to respond to refund requests within a reasonable timeframe and will explain our decision if a request falls outside this policy.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
